It's been puzzling me and got me wonder why I don't get a lock while my head to head enemy already have a missile locked on me. In 1920x1200 resolution, target must be in exact circle to get locked on, not 0.001 mm off the circle, otherwise you will lose the lock immediately. I didn't realize until today that in lower resolution your target DOES NOT have to be in exact circle to get a lock. Bullet damage register more properly and accurate in lower resolution aside from latency prioritize problem.
This is what I have when I lowered my resolution down to 1280x800:

The enemy ship has been off from the target circle for while when I was following him and I can still get a lock on him like that. No wonder there are so many people spamming missiles. We need the game play in high resolution to do exactly what you are able to do at lower resolution.
