Upgrades affect the targeted stat by a fixed percent.  Each upgrade is additive.  The contribution of each level (and the total effect) is:

Level 1 : 1%    (1%)

Level 2 : 2%    (3%)

Level 3 : 2%    (5%)

Level 4 : 3%    (8%)

Level 5 : 4%    (12%)

So each upgrade type can increase the performance of that stat by 12%.  --wj

So, is this compound? As in, I have a mamba- I upgrade it's speed, so 1.01x100 for 101. If I then upgrade it again, will it take 1.02x101, or will it just be 1.02x100?

I'm hoping compound, but I haven't tested it yet.

The table shows both the effect of the upgrade, and the compound effect of all the earlier upgrades.  Getting all 5 upgrades for a stat will increase it by 12%.  The number sounds kind of small, but the game-play effect is quite noticeable.  I prefer to max out a single stat at a time (go for max speed and/or magazine). --wj
